NASM Certified Personal Trainer
NASM Certified Sports Nutrition Coach
Nicole’s journey with running began at the age of 12, finding joy in the freedom and challenge of testing her own limits. Over the years, she ran in high school cross country, then went on to compete at the collegiate level in Division I at the University of Evansville. Along the way, she’s reached personal milestones, such as completing her first half marathon in 2006, her first marathon in 2014, and her first Ironman in 2022. Nicole also had the privilege of running in the Boston Marathon in both 2018 and 2022, and completed her first 100-mile race in 2024.
While Nicole enjoys the personal challenge of competition, she has also developed a strong passion for coaching. Since 2016, she has been fortunate to work with athletes of all levels, from 5Ks to ultramarathons. Through her coaching, many athletes have experienced personal growth and achieved their goals, including competing in state championships and achieving Boston Marathon qualifications. Nicole is driven by a sincere desire to help others reach their potential, and her love for running continues to motivate both her and the athletes she coaches.

Co-Founder and Coach
RRCA Certified Running Coach
AAFA Certified Group Fitness Instructor
Kim has been running competitively for more than 15 years. Her running journey began in the most unlikely of places—on the softball field. As a high school freshman, she lacked the skills of the upperclassmen, but had “wheels,” and was frequently called up as a pinch runner. After a season of this—she ditched the diamond and found her way to the track.
In high school, she ran cross country and track, swam and played lacrosse. In college, she continued running for her collegiate run club and competed on the triathlon club at Ball State University. She ran her first half marathon in 2008 and first marathon in 2013. She was part of the winning RAGNAR Bourbon Chase Relay (Mixed—Ultra Division) in 2019 and 2022 and has qualified and run the Boston Marathon… A 4-year, 2,500-mile journey to the start line and the roots of HAM Running. Through this experience, Kim discovered the positive impact of having a plan and a coach, and the joy of crossing a finish line that was once just a dream.
She has since coached athletes to achieve peak performance, unlock their potential, push past mental and physical barriers, discover new meaning to their miles, and reach their goals.
